Hardy Boys in Spanish! Awesome!
This is another awesome Hardy Boys story, in which the Hardys tackle a case with a werewolf in it. It's really cool how they find out what's going on, and why things are happening. I don't want to give away the story, but if you want a neat story about the supernatural, and you happen to read Spanish, give this book a try!

Lancaster (Classic Aircraft, Their History and How to Model Them, No 6)
Published in Hardcover by Aztex Corp (June, 1979)
Authors: Neville Franklin and Gerald Scarborough
Average review score:

A real treasurecave of information
There were no books about the AVRO Lancaster who packed more information in 96 pages for so little money when this one came out in 1979. The first in this joined PSL/Airfix series not to serve as elaborate background material for one of the later company's 1:24 kits, it still has a nice modelling section, describing e.g. how to convert your Lancaster into a Lancastrian or a York. The cover of this book is a colour photograph, not as with the previous five books the same painting as on the Airfix modelbox, an easy distinction. Later books in this series (Mosquito, B-17) were even more like common aviation books in outward appearance, though they all shared the same format. It is a shame that such a good serie has come to an end.
Funny thing is that a likewise and very recent series by SAM publications starts with the same aircraft as this series. The SAM series can serve as a very good replacement if you can't find the old PSL/Airfix books, as they store an even bigger amount of information within their pages.

One of the Best Books Ever
This is an incredible, well written novel by an incredible author.

The main character, a Healer whose name both I and my mom forget, is a grief-stricken former tech runner chosen by the Mirlai to save their planet, Siatha.

The other main character is the machine-manufactured spy, Rabh Marrach, who can and has fit any role for his master, the hollow Network Counceler Caragen.

Sent by Caragen to secure the planet for their allies, the alien Adraki, who seek revenge on the planet's faerielike species, the Mirlai for leaving them so long ago; Marrach soon finds himself seduced by the simple, peaceful Siathan culture and the serene young healer living in it.

The Many Lives of Benjamin Franklin

The Many Lives of Benjamin Franklin
This was a simple overview of Benjamin Franklin's life and his contributions to the United States. When Ben was born in Boston, his parents knew he was special because he was curious, had a sense of humor, and read a lot. He always tried different ways of doing things such as making paddles to swim faster and holding onto a kite while he swam so it could pull him. Ben was sent to live with his brother, James. James was a printer, so Ben wanted to learn to print also. Ben wrote letters for the newspaper without his brother's permission. When James discovered Ben's dishonesty, Ben decided to move to Philadelphia. Benjamin worked hard at printing until finally he bought his own shop. Benjamin married and had two children. His contributions to Philadelphia are tremendous, such as starting a reading club called Junto, starting the first free library, fire department, hospital and school, and even proved that lightning was electricity. Before Benjamin Franklin died at age 84, he helped free America through signing the Declaration of Independence and writing the Constitution of the United States.
